A second-group poem; Nafisi excluded it from the authentic work on grounds of style. Ganjoor includes it among the texts circulating under Attar's name. Reinert lists it among the works to be subtracted from the total that legend ascribed to the poet.

Authorship note
Apocryphal. It belongs to Ritter's 'second group': Nafisi showed on grounds of style that it cannot be Attar's; Ritter refused to ascribe it to the Attar of Tun (a manuscript of the *Jawhar al-dhat* is dated 735/1334–1335) and its author remains unidentified.
