A pamphlet with two exegetical studies: the parable of the unjust steward (Lk 16:1–13), in which he criticises the allegorical method and warns against going beyond the Gospel text, and the Lord's promise to those who leave everything for the Kingdom (Mk 10:29–30). Azbuka very dates the texts to 1869 and the pamphlet to 1893.
