Scripture of Western Ascension
Traditional attribution
Scripture of Western Ascension
西昇經

Thirty-nine sections in which the Old Master expounds to the keeper of the pass a doctrine of union with the Dao through forgetting the body and stilling the mind. It shows how medieval Taoism turned the author of the Daodejing into a master who keeps revealing texts.
