It comments on the letter about divisions in the community, the Eucharist, the charisms and the resurrection; Florensky cites it in The Pillar (ch. 8, v. 3). It belongs to the commentaries on all the epistles of St Paul written at Vysha between 1872 and 1882, built on the Fathers, above all John Chrysostom, in a style he called 'conversational'.
