Seven Sessions (sermons)
مجالس سبعه (Majalis-e sab'a)
Seven sermons of classical structure: Arabic invocation, commentary on a hadith or Qur'anic verse, exemplary tales and verses, including some by Sanai and by Rumi himself. They show the *mawlana* in his office as a public preacher and anticipate images and anecdotes that reappear in the *Masnavi*. They are the least translated part of his work.
