A short treatise in question-and-answer form, arranged in four parts —instruction, practice, experience and attainment—, that gathers Ramana's answers on teacher and disciple, the methods of enquiry and the nature of the realised state. Its concision has made it one of the basic texts included in the collected works.

Authorship note
Questions and answers collected by Sri Natanananda; the date is that of the first English edition found in the catalogue (1948), revised in 1960 to match the Tamil original. No Spanish edition located; the Spanish title is a descriptive translation.
