The Three Principles of the Divine Essence
Beschreibung der drei Principien göttlichen Wesens (De tribus principiis)

The first treatise of his maturity, written after he broke his silence in 1618. It sets out the doctrine underpinning his whole work: a first, dark and fiery principle (wrath, the Father), a second, luminous one (love, the Son) and a third, this outer world, a mixture of both. From there it explains the soul, the angels, paradise, Adam's fall and regeneration through Christ. More orderly than the Aurora, it fixes much of Böhme's technical vocabulary.
