Attar
Sharh al-qalb (Commentary on the Heart)
Written work
Sharh al-qalb (Commentary on the Heart)
شرحالقلب (Sharh al-qalb)

A work whose content is unknown; the title suggests a treatise on the heart as the organ of mystical knowledge. Its destruction by the author, together with that of the *Jawahir-nama*, is one of the few facts of his literary life that Attar tells in the first person.
No edition of this work is currently on sale in a store we have been able to verify.
Authorship note
Lost work: Attar mentions it in the preface to the *Tadhkirat* and says in that of the *Mukhtar-nama* that he destroyed it himself.
