Commentary on the Bṛhadāraṇyaka Upaniṣad

बृहदारण्यकोपनिषद्भाष्य (Bṛhadāraṇyakopaniṣadbhāṣya)

Śaṅkara con sus discípulos, de Raja Ravi Varma
byAdi Shankara

The longest of his Upaniṣad commentaries, on the oldest and longest Upaniṣad. It comments on the dialogues of Yājñavalkya —the teaching to Maitreyī, the "not this, not this" (neti neti)— and the saying "I am brahman" (aham brahmāsmi). It contains some of his most precise discussions of ignorance, action and renunciation.
