The Short Prayer Rule for Laypeople
Правило преподобного Серафима (краткое молитвенное правило)

A minimal rule for those who work or cannot read: on rising and on going to bed, the Lord's Prayer three times, 'Rejoice, O Virgin Theotokos' three times and the Creed once; during the day, the Jesus Prayer or an invocation of the Mother of God while working. Seraphim presented it as an anchor sufficient for Christian perfection if kept faithfully, and it is the most widespread part of his teaching in Orthodox prayer books.
No edition of this work is currently on sale in a store we have been able to verify.
Authorship note
Handed down by the nineteenth-century lives and the Diveyevo tradition as advice given orally to those unable to keep long rules; there is no text in his hand.
