Life of Saint Disibod
Vita sancti Disibodi episcopi

A life of the Irish bishop Disibod, patron of the monastery where Hildegard grew up, composed with almost no historical data and presented as the fruit of her vision. With the life of Saint Rupert it is the only hagiography she wrote and the only life of that saint that exists; it blends narrative, allegory and exhortation to monastic life.
