Seven Sermons to the Dead

Septem Sermones ad Mortuos

C. G. Jung en Küsnacht, 1955
byCarl Gustav Jung

A visionary text in seven 'sermons', attributed on its title page to the Gnostic Basilides of Alexandria, which Jung printed privately and gave to friends. It sets out a Gnostic cosmology of the Pleroma, Abraxas and the differentiation of opposites; it derives directly from the experiences of The Red Book, where it appears in a longer version. It was published as an appendix to some editions of his memoirs.
