Dark Night (poem)
Canciones del alma («En una noche oscura»)
Eight liras in which the soul, 'with longings, in love inflamed', goes out by night from her quiet house, guided only by the light burning in her heart, until she is united with the Beloved. The poem mentions neither God nor Christ; its spiritual reading is given by the prose commentaries.
