Ennead VI.7 [38]: How the multitude of the Forms came into being, and on the Good — Plotinus

Written work

Ennead VI.7 [38]: How the multitude of the Forms came into being, and on the Good

byPlotinus

One of the longest and most beautiful treatises. It explains why intelligible man already has senses, describes Intellect as a living world full of life, and culminates in the Good, which the soul loves without form and before which all determination vanishes; the enamoured soul unites with it when it strips itself of all form.
