Hildegarda recibe la visión y la dicta a Volmar (Scivias de Rupertsberg)
byHildegard of Bingen

Correspondence with Bernard of Clairvaux, four popes, Emperor Frederick Barbarossa, Eleanor of Aquitaine, Henry II of England, archbishops, abbots, abbesses and laypeople. It contains her most quoted texts: the letter to the prelates of Mainz on music, the letter to Guibert of Gembloux on her way of seeing, the letters about Richardis and the sermons from her preaching journeys, sent as letters to the cities. It is the main source for her public life.
