A Study in Consciousness: A Contribution to the Science of Psychology
Besant's most ambitious work in the philosophical field: a theory of consciousness from the monad to the mind, with chapters on will, desire, emotion, memory and the birth of the virtues. It seeks to engage with the psychology of her day (James, Ribot) from the standpoint of Theosophical cosmology.
