Helena Roerich en Naggar, hacia 1940
byHelena Roerich

A book devoted to the heart as the organ of spiritual knowledge and the centre uniting the physical world, the 'subtle world' and the 'fiery world'. It begins by inviting the reader 'to see with the eyes of the heart' and develops an ethic of sensitivity, compassion and intuition, together with indications on the heart's health and psychic energy. It is one of the most quoted books of the series outside the circle of its followers.

Authorship note

The Agni Yoga tradition attributes the text to the Mahatma Morya, the 'Master' among the Mahatmas of Theosophy, and presents Helena Roerich as its recipient and recorder: she said she received the paragraphs by 'clairaudience' and noted them in her notebooks, from which each book was selected and arranged with the family's collaboration. The book was published without an author's name. For historical scholarship (Andreyev, 2014) it is the work of Helena Roerich and her circle; legally, copyright is reckoned from Helena's death (1955).
