On Rhetoric
Περὶ ῥητορικῆς

According to Diogenes Laertius (X 13), in this work Epicurus held that the only requirement of style is clarity. The grammarian Aristophanes credited him with a very distinctive style, and Epicurus used the ordinary terms for things, without technical vocabulary. Philodemus later devoted a lengthy treatise to rhetoric, partly preserved at Herculaneum.
