Diogenes of Sinope
Philiscus
Written work
Philiscus
Φιλίσκος

A title in Sotion's list. Philiscus of Aegina was a pupil of Diogenes according to Laertius (VI 75–76), and is also the author to whom Satyrus and Julian attributed the tragedies in the catalogue; the lost dialogue presumably bore his name as interlocutor.

Authorship note
Lost work. It appears only in the list of Sotion (Book VII of his Succession of Philosophers), who according to Diogenes Laertius (VI 80) held only these titles to be genuine; Sosicrates and Satyrus denied that Diogenes wrote anything.
