The Miracles of Catherine, by an Anonymous Florentine
I Miracoli di Caterina di Iacopo da Siena

A short Italian account written around 1374 by an anonymous Florentine who had seen her in Florence during the Dominican general chapter. It is the earliest written testimony about Catherine, earlier than all the official hagiography, and already shows her surrounded by a reputation for holiness and by disciples.
