Kapila Pañcarātra
Traditional attribution
Kapila Pañcarātra
कपिलपञ्चरात्र (महाकपिलपञ्चरात्र)

Also called Mahākapila Pañcarātra, it belongs to the Pāñcarātra ritual literature of Viṣṇu worship and is known mainly from quotations by medieval authors such as Raghunandana. Its ascription reflects the devotional identification of Kapila with a form of Viṣṇu rather than any link with philosophical Sāṃkhya.

Authorship note
A Vaiṣṇava ritual text quoted by Raghunandana (16th century); a nominal ascription to Kapila.
