Shri Rama Chandra, the Ideal King: Some Lessons from the Ramayana
A retelling of the Ramayana prepared from the lessons Besant gave at the Central Hindu College for Hindu students. It presents Rama as the model king, son and husband, and Sita as the ideal of faithfulness, with an explicitly educational and moral aim, parallel to her version of the Mahabharata.
