Jinen hōni shō (On Jinen Hōni)
自然法爾章
A short text explaining that birth comes about "naturally", without the practitioner's calculation, because such is the working of the Vow; and that Amida is a means for us to know formless reality. It is the most mature expression of Shinran's thought.

Authorship note
Shinran's words at eighty-six recorded by his disciple Kenchi in 1258; transmitted in the Mattōshō and as an appendix to the Shōzōmatsu wasan.
