Precious Garland (Ratnāvalī)

रत्नावली (Ratnāvalī, Rājaparikathā-ratnamālā); tib. Rgyal po la gtam bya ba rin po che'i phreng ba; chin. 寶行王正論

Nāgārjuna, de la serie de los patriarcas shingon de Tōji
byNāgārjuna

Some five hundred verses in five chapters addressed to a king, probably a Sātavāhana. It combines the exposition of emptiness and of the bodhisattva path with concrete advice on government: generosity to the poor, hospitals and rest-houses, clemency towards prisoners, protection of the monastic community. It defends the authenticity of the Great Vehicle sūtras. Walser uses it as the main document for placing Nāgārjuna in his historical context.
