Fifty-four sermons and talks for the liturgical cycle—from the Theophany and the Triodion to Easter and Pentecost—and other occasions, preached mostly at Stavropol: repentance, prayer, fasting, confession and communion, the Lord's Prayer, miracles and signs, the Kingdom of God, hypocrisy and usury; it includes his address on arriving in the diocese (5 January 1858) and the exposition on the Mother of God. A first volume of Teachings had appeared in 1863.
