The Doctrine of the Heart: Extracts from Hindu Letters
A small breviary of spiritual counsel drawn from private letters by Indian teachers and disciples, which Besant collected and prefaced. It stresses devotion, renouncing the fruit of action, service and the disciple's humility. Widely read in Theosophical circles as a book for daily meditation.
