My Path to Atheism

Annie Besant hacia 1897
byAnnie Besant

It gathers her earliest critical writings: on the deity of Jesus, the atonement, the inspiration of the Bible, the nature and existence of God and the basis of morality. It documents the passage from Christian doubt to theism and from theism to atheism, defended as an honest abstention from asserting what cannot be proved. It was one of the most widely read texts of the English secularist movement.
