A Vedāntic and devotional version of the story of Rāma, as a dialogue between Śiva and Pārvatī, presenting Rāma as the Absolute and Sītā as his power. It is one of the sources of Tulsīdās's Rāmcaritmānas and contains the legend of the conversion of the bandit who would become Vālmīki.
