Dialogue
Zwiesprache

Essay published in *Die Kreatur* in 1929 and as a book in 1932, developing in plainer language the motifs of *I and Thou*: the difference between genuine dialogue, technical dialogue and disguised monologue, and the "becoming aware" of what is said to us in each situation. It includes the autobiographical accounts of the grandparents' horse and of the "conversion".
