Selection of passages from the *Zhuangzi* rendered into German by Buber, with an afterword, "Die Lehre vom Tao", interpreting Taoism as a doctrine of unity realised in life. It was one of the first German versions of the Taoist classic and shows the universal horizon of his religious quest.
