Prodromus principiorum rerum naturalium
A first attempt, published in Amsterdam, to explain chemical and physical phenomena through the geometry of particles. Together with Nova observata circa ferrum et ignem and the Methodus nova inveniendi longitudines (both 1721), it forms the group of works with which he presented himself abroad as a natural philosopher.
