A transitional work, written between the crisis of 1744 and the call of 1745 and published in London: a poetic prose narrative of the creation of the earth, paradise and the first man and woman, mixing scientific cosmology, allegory and myth. It was left unfinished when Swedenborg abandoned natural philosophy.
