The Self and Its Sheaths
Four lectures delivered at Adyar in December 1894 on the Vedantic doctrine of the sheaths (koshas) enveloping the Self: physical, vital, mental, intellectual and blissful. Besant relates them to the subtle bodies of Theosophy and shows the path by which consciousness withdraws towards its centre.
