Vasishtha

A prose manual with interspersed verses, in thirty chapters, on the rules of conduct: the sources of dharma, the four social classes, the stages of life (student, householder, hermit, ascetic), purity, women, inheritance, adoption, lawful interest on loans, the king and penances.
