Christianity as Mystical Fact
Rudolf Steiner
It surveys the Greek and Egyptian mysteries, Plato, the raising of Lazarus and the Gospels to argue that Christianity turned into a unique, public historical event—the life of Jesus Christ—what had been a secret initiation in the ancient mysteries. It is the first sketch of the Christology that would set Steiner apart from Adyar Theosophy.
