Vyasa

The longest book: Yudhiṣṭhira, crushed by the slaughter, wishes to renounce the throne; Bhīṣma, from his bed of arrows, instructs him on the king's duty (rājadharma), conduct in times of crisis (āpaddharma) and liberation (mokṣadharma). It includes the departure of Śuka, Vyāsa's son.
