Great Swan (Lex Hixon)
Great Swan: Meetings with Ramakrishna

It rewrites scenes from the Gospel as meditations, in contemporary language and with personal interpretation. It has been very popular with Western readers, but it must be clearly distinguished from the sources, since the words it gives Ramakrishna are often Hixon’s own.
