A mixed book: a first part in which Stevens recounts the 1955 gathering with Meher Baba at Meherabad; a central section with nine discourses on death and immortality, sleep, war, freedom, the spiritual path and love; and a final part on his Avatarhood. It is one of the most readable ways into his late teaching.
