Third volume of the treatise: it reinterprets the twelve signs, the ruling planets and the zodiacal crosses as influences on the evolution of the soul rather than on the events of the personality. It is the basis of the 'esoteric astrology' school followed by many contemporary astrologers.

Authorship note
Attributed by Alice A. Bailey to 'the Tibetan' (Djwhal Khul), whose telepathic dictation she said she received and transcribed; the Lucis Trust edition publishes it under Bailey's name, prefaced by the 'Extract from a Statement by the Tibetan'. Actual authorship cannot be verified: historians treat it as Bailey's work.
