Verdict

Elle ne figure pas dans l'œuvre de Epictetus

An anonymous epigram in the Palatine Anthology (VII.676), sometimes presented as an epitaph Epictetus composed for himself. There is no basis for attributing it to him; it is a eulogy written by someone else.
