Reflections concerning the Causes of Liberty and Social Oppression

Réflexions sur les causes de la liberté et de l'oppression sociale

Simone Weil en 1943
bySimone Weil

Against Marxist optimism, it proposes as an ideal a society in which work is methodical and conscious action. It anticipates her criticism of Soviet bureaucracy and Taylorism.
