Authorship note

Groundless attribution. Arabic Neoplatonic texts of the ninth and tenth centuries that circulated under Empedocles' name ("Pseudo-Empedocles"), influential on the Andalusian philosophy of Ibn Masarra and on Kabbalah; Daniel De Smet studied them in Empedocles Arabus (1998).
