The Ultimate Medicine
The Ultimate Medicine: As Prescribed by Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj
Dialogues of the last two years centred on the "medicine" that cures identification with the body: understanding that the sense of being is a passing state and remaining its witness until it dissolves. It includes exchanges with Western visitors and direct references to his illness, which he treated with detachment. It is one of the most quoted titles of his final period.
