Posthumous work
La Sophia

An unfinished dialogue and treatise in French, written in London, Egypt and Italy in 1875–1876. It sets out, in still esoteric form, between Gnosticism, Kabbalah and German mysticism, the doctrine of Sophia as world soul and principle of unity between God and creation. Solovyov did not publish it; it is the first formulation of his sophiology.

Authorship note
