ليست في أعمال Thomas à Kempis

A Latin saying ('In omnibus requiem quaesivi et nusquam inveni nisi in angulo cum libro') which has long accompanied some portraits of Thomas and which tradition attributes to him; it does not appear in his known works and its first attestation has not been established. It expresses his ideal well, but it is a traditional attribution.
