The Asian Journal of Thomas Merton
An edition of the notebooks from the Asian journey (October–December 1968): Bangkok, India, Dharamsala and the Dalai Lama, Darjeeling and Chatral Rinpoche, Polonnaruwa. It includes the Calcutta and Bangkok talks, letters and an epilogue by Patrick Hart on his death. It is the key document of his dialogue with Buddhism.
