Letters from the Far East and Solovki
Письма с Дальнего Востока и Соловков
Letters written between 1933 and 1937 from the camps of Svobodny, Skovorodino and Solovki to his wife, his mother and his five children, to whom he gave lessons in physics, chemistry, botany, poetry and music. Published in part from the 1980s and complete in 1998 (vol. 4 of his Works). They are one of the great spiritual testimonies of the Gulag.
