Glimpses of a Golden Childhood

Osho en 1972
byOsho

Memories of his childhood in Kuchwada and Gadarwara — his grandparents, school, death, early rebellions — dictated in private at Rajneeshpuram. It is the main, almost the only, source for his childhood, so its documentary value is limited: several scholars read it as an idealised self-portrait.

Authorship note

Dictated by Osho in private sessions at Rajneeshpuram (1981–1984) before a small group of disciples; Ma Anand Sheela and other witnesses state that the sessions took place under nitrous oxide administered by his dentist, which he denied.
